The hotel rooms have premium double pillow top Simmons beds, perfect a night’s rest after a day on the mountains. The rooms are ensuite with tiled bathrooms and quality amenities. There is a mini fridge, a working space area, and kettle with tea & coffee. Each rooms has garden or mountain views, with three of our rooms having spectacular views of the Japanese Alps. Each room uses professional grade steel hotel doors with sound proofing, ensuring a quality night of sleep.
What Makes It Special
Vive Restaurant features the extraordinary talented Chef Shingo Suzuki as he weaves together magical dishes using local Japanese produce and modern European techniques. He honed his skills spending 6 years and three different Michelin starred restaurants in Italy. He’s accompanied by two other chefs who also were at multiple Michelin starred restaurants. This is one of the finest tasting menus you can have and the best meal in Hakuba.
Vive Spa has both a private plunge bath, complete with aromatic Japanese hinoki wood and towadai tiles which turn blue when the water touches them.
The location is unbeatable, just 2 minutes walk to the main street of Echoland – restaurants, cafes, bars, ski rental, car rental, and resort shuttles at your door step. It is 5 minutes drive to Hakuba47 or Happo-One Ski Resorts.
Notes About Our Service & Facilities:
1) Breakfast & lunch are not served inside the hotel. Recommended spots include Calico, Penguin Cafe, Sounds Like Cafe, La Vigne Fudo Dining, Zermatt. These are all within 3-5 minutes walk.
2) Laundry facilities are not available inside the hotel. Coin laundry is located less than 5 minutes walk away.
3) Parking is available onsite, free of charge. We recommended renting a car. Otherwise, resort shuttles are less than 2 min walk.
4) Housekeeping is available by request.
5) Staff are available from 8am to 10pm daily.
6) Ski Gear / Dry Room is available.
